I have a 4 and 2 year old and now im 7 weeks pregnant with my third child .
Before i was pregnant, i was doing alot of cardio and weights each day. At the moment im doing 2 hours of cardio on my exercise bike and lifting weights 6x a week. I really dont want to lose my fitness level and not gain loads of weight. Will it be safe to carry on at this level?

thanks

^This, for what’s best for mom and baby.

Definitely speak to your doctor before doing anything. Every pregnancy and person is different.

But for an example, I am 34 weeks and I still lift weights and do cardio, with modifications. I definitely lost strength as I am not able to lift nearly the same, but after having the baby it doesn't take too long to come back so try not to worry.

    Talk to your doctor first.

I've always been told that if you were doing something (exercise-wise) before the pregnancy then it's safe to keep it up during the pregnancy. It's harder on you to start a new regimen after the pregnancy has already begun in other words.
