Hi, my name is Olivier - I am new to this community. I live in California and I started hiking ‘seriously’ 2 years ago from now and I love it. My challenge is to find a good balance in my food to feel better and improve my hiking performance as well. My goal is to lose 20 lbs.

Hi there! I was on MFP about 4 years back as I was very underweight and was trying to gain. I got very used to eating what I want without putting on weight, then this year, I’ve suddenly started putting the weight on and have hit about 10 stone 9. I’m not exactly unhappy with my current weight but as I’m used to eating a load of rubbish, I know that if I carry on that way I will keep putting it on. So my goal right now is to lose a little bit, and maintain it while being healthier all round. I’m mainly trying to change my diet, but I’m thinking about trying some light exercise too when I get a chance (I also waitress and do about 18,000 steps each shift). I’d love to have some friends on here as I’m ignorant about the steps to take in living a healthier lifestyle!0
