Northwestern USA here. We call the ice pop things "Otter Pops", and we call the trolleys "shopping carts"!0

Ok, so I was at Walmart the other day and took notice that 2 brands called them "ice pops" and the kisko brand called them "freezies".
Is this another case of a regional name? Like I call electrical or power "hydro" and all tissue "Kleenex" and all cotton swabs "Q-tips"?
And, kinda random but it kinda works in this conversation, I have a friend who was born and raised in Southern Ontario and she says the letter "zed" as "zee" and calls garbage "trash"
...so weird!

In Michigan, we call them popsicles. I go through a case per week, as my demon spawn kids are providing them to the entire effing neighborhood.1
