Welcome! I would say just try to be consistent and know that once you've built up your record of frequent and recent foods, tracking gets much much faster. Good luck!4

You're a newbie so approach it like one. Small easy steps and build up skills, knowledge and confidence.
You wouldn't learn piano by trying to play Stravinskys Trois mouvements de Petrouchka so don't approach this with the expectations to instantly be able to eat and train like an elite athlete.
Keep it simple and make small changes.

If you haven't already, read the stickies at the top of the getting started forum. Very informative and helpful.
Start with small changes. Weigh your foods. The food scale will become your best friend.
Fill out the food diary truthfully. It can be difficult to start but once you get some of your foods in, it gets easier. Eat the foods you love. Stay in a calorie deficit and lose weight.
