For the past 2 weeks I've been binging like crazy and eating in a huge surplus every day. In addition the food that I've been eating has mostly been junk food. I'm too scared to get on the scale but I can see that I've gained a substantial amount of weight just by looking in the mirror. My love handles have especially gotten bigger. I just feel terrible emotionally and physically.

Fill out your food diary truthfully. Log everything that you eat. Again, accountability.
Prelog healthy foods in your food diary a few days in advance. This will make you disciplined. It should also motivate you to do better.

Based on this post and the one linked above I think you know what the problem is. You've attempted the impossible and have now witnessed the results of this extreme approach. It's time to reassess your plan and take a more reasonable, sustainable and achievable way forward.
Start slow.
Make 1 or 2 small changes only
Build up as you progress
You're really left with the choice of continuing to fail to do the impossible or start to succeed at doing the sensible.10 -
So you are doing what I call rebel-eating. The problem is, from my experience, is that when you get to this state you overcompensate and eat far more than you actually need to eat. What you don't want to do is then overcompensate again in the other direction and come up with an even harsher plan to "punish" yourself for this rebellion.
@Danp gave you appropriate advice... can you follow it?

Time to start all over from scratch and do this right.
1. Get on the scale.
2. Set the MFP goal for 1 lb per week and it will tell you the # of calories to eat per day. Eat all of them and no more than them; come as close to that number as humanly possible everyday. Do light exercise for 15-20 mins a day, such as a one mile walk or 15-20 minutes on a cardio machine, if you have access to one. Eat healthy, avoid junky foods, and avoid cheat meals and "time outs" - just get yourself on track for a while. Do this for a few weeks.
Forget all that OMAD and intermittent fasting stuff. My diet is IF based so in no way can it be said that am I anti-IF, but it is not suitable for you at this time, and won't be until and unless you get yourself on a sound footing with calorie-controlled, healthy eating and reasonable, limited exercise. You don't need OMAD or IF, in fact you won't ever need it to lose weight, so just put that aside for now.
Forget ketosis. What you need to do is never think the word ketosis again. If you see that word ketosis on some web page, close your browser. If someone brings it up in conversation, pretend you have a meeting to go to and extricate yourself immediately.
A really good thing to do would be to not visit any more web sites for a while that talk about things such as OMAD, hard-core work out routines, intermittent fasting, or especially ketosis. Get back to basics: light exercise a few times a week, mostly healthy food, and a reasonable calorie deficit. Doing that that will get you into the right mindset and start nudging your habits in the right direction.
A two week binge is not the end of the world; probably 90 % of the people on this board have been through that experience. The thing to understand is that a binge ends when you (a) get on a scale and (b) stop fooling around with extreme, dumb diet ideas like 800 calories and ketosis, and get serious - meaning reasonable calories of reasonably healthy food, and reasonable amounts of exercise. If you cannot commit to aiming for a 1 lb per week weight loss (and no more than that at first) by eating ALL of the calories each day to hit MFP's calorie target, then you will never get this straightened out. You must start there if you want to end this self-sabotage cycle and get on track.11 -
I'm going to repeat the advice from that thread to seek help to get a more balanced relationship with food.
Meanwhile, also follow the advice in the post above to avoid "not visit any more web sites for a while that talk about things such as OMAD, hard-core work out routines, intermittent fasting, or especially ketosis" - this is not information you are currently able to process in a way that is healthy.3 -
Coming from someone who has done every extreme diet in the book, don't. They might 'work' but they aren't sustainable and always lead to gaining back plus some. Get rid of the junk in your house, weigh yourself, and chooss to eat healthy. Not just because of the number on the scale, but so u can feel better mentally and physically1
