Does it ever work....

Been on MFP for nearly two years....and have to ask the question...has it ever worked?.
This is the only App on my phone that doesn’t!

It seems there is almost always some bug or another. Fix one thing, two more break. But overall, for the most part, it is still usable and you can still use it to successfully accomplish your goals with minor annoyances.

I keep hearing that people have this problem and that problem with mfp. I just don't seem to run into those issues on the app. I'm rarely on the website so can't say about that.

It is a free website so I'm not sure why people are complaining. I'm certainly able to reach my daily goals on it.

When I only used it for tracking calories only, it's worked fine in the past.

This time, doing the whole community thing, groups, friends list, feed posts... It's all glitchy this time.

Totally agree, I have no problems using the app on phone or iPad. I don’t ever use the PC for the site either, though.

It glitches pretty much non-stop on the app. For the last day and a half (just fixed), none of the photos anyone uploaded would load in anyone's timeline. It's just one example of several. There was a time several months ago where the entire news feed was down for over a week.

For the most part, the logging your calories seems to work pretty smoothly. But there are really an unusually large amount of glitches for an app like this.

Everything? All at once? Rarely

I just imagine the programmers playing a mad game of whack-a-mole where fixing one glitch causes two others and almost feel sorry for them.

Back when I used MFP all the time in 2013 I don't remember having any issues... now it seems like there are problems and glitches every day (including getting signed out whenever I try to navigate around). Quality has gone down over the years. =/

That is how dev works unfortunately. No matter what language, program, app, etc.

I use the app on all platforms; OSX, ios, android, and PC (I'm an IT guy so I get to play with lots of devices) and I rarely have any of the issues that don't affect everyone.

I don't know. Clear your cookies, uninstall, delete your cache, reboot, reinstall.

I hardly ever have a problem with the food diary, on the Android App or the website. The social aspect is a different story, so I guess it depends on what you mean by "work"

The app is super slow for me. I have an iPhone 5S, I'm not sure if it matters? But it takes forever to log in, search for items, anything just takes forever and freezes.

If you have had the app for two years and it has never worked, you should've deleted it 23 months ago.

Everything has glitches. MFP glitches seldom enough that I don't sweat it much. It's free, and I can't complain too much about a free thing.

I rarely use the app, I prefer the website...when it is working.
