50 here. A health dealie--plus quitting smoking--made me lazy for decades. That's over now, so I'm back to my natural weight.

Indeed. I've lost 70lb so far and the vast majority of that is body fat. I recently hoisted a suitcase onto the airport check in conveyor and mused to myself that I had been carrying around that amount in fat. Scary.

Y'know, I been doin' all kinds of fitness stuff and strength work and hiking. I'm fitter than I've ever been or even dreamed that I could be. And I'm pretty confident that I couldn't even lift the amount of weight I've lost, never mind walk around with it all day.

As of today, I have hit 32kg lost (70.5pounds), my revised goal weight. I'm waiting until this Sunday (my official weigh in day ) before I call it though and go into maintenance!10
