Add me. Once again I’m back at it. Lost about 60 lbs 4 years ago only to fall into a bad depression I stopped going to the gym and eating right. I basically gave up on myself. Here I am with all and more gained and tired of everyone pointing out the obvious “ your fat”. Just don’t know where to start with this journey. Need all the support I can get.5

It is for people who are starting or previously started with 75 or more pounds to lose. It is also for people who wish to focus on a sensible and sustainable weight loss. We are not just trying to change a number on a scale we are trying to change our lives for the better and hopefully learn enough along the way to maintain it.5 -

ALL - This is my first MFP post in about...10 years. I'm finally ready to lose my 100 lbs. It just feels different this time. I am open to the idea of being involved in the community, but I can be overwhelmed by the sheer volume of people and posts. I would like my efforts to be meaningful for me and for those I am in contact with. I think I am mostly looking for a team. A small group of people who become important to each other and who can really commit to the team. I'm not even sure if this is a good place to post this request, but it seemed like the thread that might most likely fit what I was looking for. I'm not sure the best way to accomplish this or if anyone is interested. Let me know. I am even thinking perhaps we take the small group off of the MFP to texting or some other form of contact that is a little more personal.
A few things about me -
* 38, female, Utah
* 5'6", 246 lbs
* Goal is: 145 lbs-150lbs-ish
* I work as an accountant at a University.
* I'm going to school for my Master's at night.
* Married, 1 teenage stepson lives with us 100% of the time.
* 1 Golden Retriver/Irish Setter mix
* I love food, cooking, gardening.
* I like to spend time in the mountains.
* I am striving to track all my meals.
* Weights - MWF
* Bike/Elliptical - TuTh
* Long Walk & Yoga - SatSu
* I can't weigh-in every week. It creates disordered eating behaviors.
* Weigh-in every 6 weeks.
* No firm date to finish my weight loss, but within 3 years when I am finished with my Master's seems nice.5 -
I’ve lost 15 pounds so far. My goal is to lose another 90 over the next year to 18 months.1

I'm with you all. I've lost 18 pounds since Aug. 12th, 100 to go! Looking forward to that tummy tuck and breast lift to reward myself. We can do this! Now if I can figure out why when I close out my food tracking for the day, it tells me that in 5 weeks I will be 9 pounds heavier than I am right now even though I am staying within my set calorie count. Good luck to all!1

@mendezcristina92 check your measurements. It's possible you're losing inches but not weight. You can also try tweaking something in your diet. Have a high carb or high calorie day and then back to the norm. I started at 343 pounds and I'm currently bouncing between 240 and 247. My current problem is too many high carb days.0
