59 14st 5lbs goal 13 stone in 6 weeks

Never used an app before and been a bit hit and miss on dieting in past , had to severely cut my love of chocolate to zero for this to work . Intend getting to 13 stone as I intend going motorbike road racing again. How do you guys deal with the hunger pangs between meals ? Mark

    One way to deal with the hunger pangs would be to eat more! Whilst you’ve not said what your daily calorie goal is I’m 100% sure it’s too aggressive. It’s neither healthy nor realistic to attempt to lose what is almost a stone and a half in 6 weeks.

    That works out at roughly half a pound a day, requiring a daily calorie deficit of 1750 calories per day. Unless your maintenance calories are somewhere in the region of 3250 per day you’re not going to get anywhere near the deficit you need in any sort of healthy or sustainable way.

    I’d respectfully suggest you read the ‘sticky’ posts at the top of the ‘Getting Started’ forum before you embark on anything this drastic.

    Id go straight on low carb.. I dropped 8lbs the first week. Granted its mainly water but I'd you want a good kick-start it will get you going.. I'd give you're self abit more time tho pal.. Its a slow steady journey
