Approaching 50 and it is time to make a lifestyle change

Options
Hello, I am new to the community. A month ago I decided it was time for a change, so I started a Keto Program. So far the results have been amazing, and I look forward to the journey ahead.

The hardest part of this Keto program is giving up my passion for home fermenting. Gonna miss “ real” beer and wine.....we will meet again!

Off to Philly in the morning. Have to get creative on my activity and figure out how to eat/drink in a way that will not blow out my process so far.

Had a great time with the Team this week. Managed to stick to my diet and found ways to get in some exercise. I thought it would be difficult to resist all the craft breweries and great food. Just did my weekly weight check and I dropped 4.6 lbs this week.pclnmgl3kmub.jpeg

Great job! I came to the same realizations this summer. I will be 50 in April and wanted to lose and get healthy. I figured if I don't do it now, I probably never will. I started July 24th and have been doing well. I'm down 42 pounds and am walking around 4 to 4 1/2 miles (when it's not too hot). I used to jog and plan on being at a more reasonable weight by December to get back at it.

Hope you continue to do well.
