Wondering if anyone knows a rough estimate for calorie burn doing a Jillian Michaels DVD (like 30 Day Shred or Ripped in 30). I know it can vary based on ones weight and how much effort they put in and such but just looking for a generally idea. And what do you enter it as under exercise? I don’t need to have super exact as I have a lot of weight to lose so have fairly broad margins but I like to have some idea. Thanks.

Depending on the video, put it under calisthenics or aerobics - low impact or high impact. MFP will figure out the calories.

She does circuit training so log it as that2

I’ve been recording the 30 day shred as aerobics. Normal aerobics for level one and high impact for levels 2 and 3.0

I log it as circuit training, as it incorporates strength, cardio and active recovery aka abs..0
