are all exercise calories locked behind premium now?

I am trying to get back into logging. today I noticed that my calories burnt from walking were not counting in my diary. I could see my step counter on the main page though. I recently upgraded my phone. on my old phone, this worked. I went into settings looking to work this out and found this: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EGklPbVWkAAuFaO?format=jpg&name=large

it kinda looks like exercise calories are locked? is this true? if so I'm going to have to finally find a replacement for mfp

    No. Your exercise calories always are counted towards your goal on the free version. The premium version gives you the option to turn them off if you want.

    It's a glitch. It happens to me sometimes. I delete it, then redo it and it usually shows up then.
