Has anyone tried this program? I'm interested to try it, but only have my home gym, so wonder if it's suitable. I'm doing a lifting program by Torre Washington at the moment which has been great and I've been really enjoying it, but starting to get bored and looking for something else when I finish up in December.

Bret Contreras is one of the best trainers out there, 20 years in the industry and a PhD in Sports Science, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Known as the Glute Guy

Don't know anything about this particular program or if it would be suitable for your particular situation, but he puts out solid material.

    Good luck.

I can't imagine he wouldn't center a program like that around hip thrusts. If that's true then as long as you have a barbell that you can add enough weight to to be challenging for hip thrusts you will probably be good.

He is one of the most knowledgeable guys around and I can't imagine he would put any program out that wasn't good.

I have not tried this specific program, but I did the first 12 weeks of "Strong Curves" and I was very pleased with my results.

I've heard great things about it and would love to try it but I am waiting for my home gym to be properly set up. I think it's similar to SC as it is 3x per week full body, but it has some additional glute workouts and it changes every 4 weeks with new exercises and each month has a specialization..ex. hip thrusts, squats, deadlifts. etc. You get instructional videos and all that, and I know it comes at a cost so that is something to consider.

I signed up for the program several months ago. It’s a great program- very intense workouts. I do it at a commercial gym- my husband does it at home with a squat rack, bench, suspension system, bands, glute loops. some heavy DBs. He does have to modify some exercises- BC loves his hypers and we don’t have a hyperextension bench yet. DH is basically in recomp at 6’3” and 195-200lbs and he finds the periodization and workouts to be a good fit for his goals.
The workouts are 3X week with 2X week optional glute workouts for those who prefer a 5X week schedule. The instructional videos are excellent and the exercises are surprisingly diverse despite being built around the basics (DLs, Hip Thrusts, BP, chin-ups, etc).

I have been doing the program for 2 weeks and so far so good. There are videos for each exercise that are excellent.
