Tracking Foods on MFP is only thing that has ever worked for me

I left MFP a year and a half ago to join the keto craze. During the first two months of keto I dropped 12 pounds very quickly. For the next 15 months I was working out almost every day while sticking to strict 20- 30 carb a day and ketone testing. I didn’t gain any weight during the next 15 months of Keto, but didn’t lose either. I’m now only 15 pounds from my goal weight, so I don’t have a lot to lose. I was hoping keto would get me to my final goal, instead it only raised my cholesterol and ldl and pushed me against a wall with weight loss.

I’ve seen people lose massive amounts of weight on keto so I know it works for a lot of people, but after a year and a half of strict keto, it just didn’t work for me.

In the past, logging food on MFP is the ONLY thing that has ever worked. This may be because I’m a 5’0” female which makes every calorie matter.

Anyway, I’m looking for ACTIVE friends for motivation and support so please feel free to add!

Keto works for some, but I can't see how it is sustainable. I stick to an 80/20 plan which allows me to enjoy what I'm eating while eating healthy and splurge without feeling guilty.

Welcome back. I don't get the appeal to keto, it seems overcomplicated when compared to simply logging.
