My doctor was very pleased, said to keep up the good work and shall see me again in 6 months. I hope to lose another 25 pounds by then, and continue with my healthier eating and exercise.
Very good news! It will only get better! Be proud of yourself6 -
Went to visit my 88 yr old Aunt in the hospital and the first thing she said was, "you've lost weight!" and then right after she said, "you've lost enough now, don't lose any more!" haha. it was so sweet and the amazing part is, she has dementia and still remembered!43

I noticed this morning that my capris (16w) were looking pretty terrible, baggy wise, so I tried on a new pair of pants (20 regular) and fit PERFECTLY. 😍😍😍. I'm not sure exactly how sizes go from plus/womens to regular sized but... 16W is the smallest plus size my store carries and 20 is the biggest regular size so that must be the line?
I can honestly remember a time when if I needed jeans I would just go to Walmart and buy the biggest size (28W) and cross my fingers the zipper would zip.21 -
I think I need new EMT pants!47 -
This was a day I was targeting along with yesterday's doctor visit. One year ago, nevermind my poor mobility, the "struggle was real" putting these size 42 jeans on. It took major effort to button, too tight to wear, so I didn't. This morning they are almost too loose! I also tried a pair of nicer slacks I still have, size 40...they fit too. I see a shopping trip in the not too distant future.

Room under my jeans for long underwear just as winter arrives. I feel so much more cosy when everything *isn't* skintight.27

My standing line/joke leading up to today's doctor appointment was "I want my lab results and visit to be so good that it makes her consider changing professions" 😆 Now, of course that wasn't going to happen, but her telling me that she is "blown away" by what she saw and read today is a very gratifying and very, very suitable substitute! And she got a good laugh out of the line when I told her. BTW, not seen in picture was A1C at 5.8 (6.1 in May) and fasting blood glucose of 100. At my May visit, I weighed 281!
Ain't no stopping me now!!! 🙂
Great news!3 -
Legs are super sore from last two days of lifting workouts, but I still managed to make time on treadmill, helps me stay on track if I do something.

WIN!!!! Dinner at my favorite Mexican restaurant and I came out with calories to spare!!!!!!!!
I’m gonna go home and have me a dessert!!!!26 -
I have always loved these inexpensive little dresses at thia store near me. They get them in all sorts of colours but the sizes are always super small ( and xl is closer to a m in most stores).
Well not only did I fit in one today but I fit in a Medium.38 -
Had a session with a trainer at the gym a couple days ago, and I am still sore today. I count that as a success, because I was able to push myself enough to get sore, in a good way, and I'm looking forward to getting stronger. Other NSV is lovingly treating myself to a massage today to help calm the soreness! Training again tomorrow!17

You look PERFECT in this! Seriously, like it was made for you. So cute! Awesome NSV! 😀7 -
My husband said to me the other day, "I mean this in the best way possible. I love you for you, not your body. But you're basically a trophy wife and I love that I get to show you off like arm candy."

My size 12 pants are starting to get baggy Is it really time to get some 10's?! Wow!! Ordered a pair online & should be arriving next week! I'm pretty excited!24

Was upset at first this morning because my jeans were feeling a little snug, WTH! Then realized I accidentally put on a pair that were way too small before and they fit now. 👍30

If he ever gave me flowers, I’d have to ask, “who got the terminal diagnosis, you or me?”
Good thing I love the silly old thing.

Wanted to hit the like button a few dozen times on that one.12 -
Bought 5 pairs of pants online (as my husband said, “bold move” 😆) and they all fit! One pair is even a bit big in the bum. They are the al the smallest size this store sells online, so not sure where to go from here, but thrilled they fit with no muffin top! (Summer and fall we’re a little rough for me, so happy my concerted effort this month is paying off)14

This is the best discussion on MFP! So positive! Can't wait to post something. I guess going to the Apple Store yesterday and actually knowing more than the 2 "Geniuses" at my Genius Bar Appt. felt pretty great although they didn't answer my question. Not a weight/health NSV but a victory none the less for this "boomer".21

Last month was punishing at work (long hours, stressful setting). My food choices suffered, but I logged every single bite and kept stepping on the scale daily for accountability. Now that things have lightened up again I am right back on track. Pleased as punch with myself for not giving up. I even hit 100 days of consistent logging right at the end of that month! This girl is ready to face the holidays40

Nine weeks into my new running program (C25K) and my BP has gone from 120/70 to 92/58. And OMG I have so much more energy.30

Congratulations! The health benefits you accrue are real and improve not just your life but the lives of those close to you too. I'm so happy for you.10 -
Today I realized that every piece of clothing I own now fits, with one exception - a pair of trousers that are too big30

Jacket that was skin tight last year fits almost too loose, can wear for this year, but next year it’s gone!27

I had an awesome run yesterday! No PR but I did do negative splits and ran 3 miles in under 30 minutes.

I bought some trousers with a 28 inch waist recently. (My waist was 36 at the start of the year.) They fit well.32

I'm on holiday and wearing summer clothes I haven't worn for a couple of months. Some of them are definitely feeling a bit looser than I remember!18

I tried on a size 4 at the thrift store today and it fit just fine, and it wasn’t even one of those “oversized” pieces that you can sometimes wear if you wear it fitted. It was a structured piece with no stretch, yet it fit nicely. I have never fit into a 4 in my fully grown life, even in junior high I was wearing adult 12s. It was ugly though so I didn’t buy it, lol.39

Thank you, it is indeed a big boost to my morale! In all fairness, I'm the sort that purges clothes after a couple of years of disuse, so nothing I owned was extremely too small. Why the boost is so important is because for years I've been too big to shop anywhere but specialty plus size shops. Clothes have been a source of anxiety for so long, which makes this latest NSV extra special to me.18
