Need extra motivation

I'm returning from taking a bit of a break and need some motivation. The last few months I've been totally wrapped up with all that comes with a big move. I moved from Germany to Australia and there were so many endless things to do in preparation for that I had very little time to cook proper meals which were healthy or have time to go to the gym. It was a really stressful time. I was working really long hours and then coming home and doing visa forms, applying for jobs, selling all my stuff and packing. Once that was over, I had 2 months of vacation where I visited home and moved and had to get situated in my new county finding a place to live and move in. I definitely could have managed to go to the gym during this time, but was so exhausted from everything I couldn't do it. Now I'm ready to jump back in, but it feels a little overwhelming to start over, and like it will take a long time. Ideally I would like to lose 20 lbs. I hope I can do it!

I'm kind of in the same boat. Not a move, but a new job, an injury and a lot of "life" upsetting normal routines. I need to get back on track - really hard around the holidays - and am looking for that extra support to hold me accountable.

Since you’re in a new location maybe you can get some exercise in by exploring your new city on foot? Ease back into things, y’know? Last year I was getting back into the gym and I was really intimidated to going back after a year of inactivity, but I started slow and that was definitely the way to go for me. You can do it!
