I am so ashamed and ready to get healthy

I have just started logging today (From nz it is 10.15am here) I have logged my breakfast and I am so f-ing ashamed of how many calories I have already had for my breakfast. (It is no wonder I am fat!)
Has anyone here experienced feelings of being scared to change? Even though you know its the best thing to do for yourself?
Also anyone ex HAES believers? I am coming out of that mentality.
I have dieted on and off for about 10 years and currently at my heaviest. I am done with low carb diets and crash diets and I know they work for some people long term but not me. I have been a member of MFP for a few years but never done it seriously.
Would love to follow/friend people who are near my starting weight..109kg (I think 240lbs)
I am 165cm tall female for fyi.

Hi! I am somewhat on the spectrum of HAES ... I have been on every diet there is, done all the supplements, weight has been all over the place. Ironically, the most healthy i have ever been is when i quit restricting food groups and large amounts of calories. Best of luck to you!2

Being scared to change ? I think I know what you mean. Maybe its the idea of being scared at *failing* at changing. Being daunted by all the work it will take. Only seeing all the ways that it wont work.
Wanting to change is the first step. Convince yourself of it and things will start to fall into place.
I am male, 186cm and was at 118 kilos (not your target demographic, I grant, but fear is fear.) I was afraid of all the work it would take get back to my goal weight of 90kg. In July of this year I decided I wanted to change no matter the cost. I stopped eating the foods I knew were bad. Thats Step 1. Then I started making time to go to the gym or exercise at home every. Single. Day. Step 2. Even when I didnt see any change I kept at it. Thats Step 3. Keep at it.
Recognize that it takes about two months (at least) for a behavior to become a habit. So in those two months your mind will be screaming at you to do something else - anything else! - but this new thing. Your mind will be telling you that you this is too hard. Push through those voices and after about two months not only will you see dramatic changes in your physical appearance but your choices will become more ingrained. More automatic.
As you see improvements, please take pride in the fact that you've already changed. And continue to refine those changes
And if I can make a small suggestion - one that helped me immensely: don't diet. Eat right. Calling it dieting will only set you up cognitively to see these changes as temporary. But if you say to your self "Im going to eat right and treat myself better", then you set yourself up cognitively to view your new choices not as a temporary state of affairs but as a new and beneficial part of a new you; permanent.
When I started eating right and exercising 5 months ago I felt like I would never get back in shape. I had too far to go and too little time to do it. But I made the time and I am now at 97kg with a lot less fat and a lot more muscle . I just started logging with MFP about 3 months ago.
You can do it. By this time next year you can , healthily and without starving yourself or crash dieting, be 45 fewer kg than you are now. It will be hard at first but you can do it.
I wish you the best of luck.

I know how you feel. Logging again and noticing how much I consume is really terrifying. But I know we can do it.1

Actually you're doing it exactly right. You log to see what you're really eating calorie-wise. To many it's a shock. That's good. It gives you motivation to change your habits. Take a good look at what you're eating and start to make small changes so you can hit your calorie goal. This is a long learning process, so just take it step by step. You'll make a few mistakes along the way. Just keep plugging away and you'll be successful. Wishing you the best.0
