anyone get cranky after a workout?

So I realized that I get short tempered after I finish my workout. I dunno if there's some extra testosterone hanging around, or if my extra achy muscles are making me less than delightful to be around, but I'm not exactly nice. Anyone else having this issue?

I often workout right when I get home from work, and before dinner, and I often find I am downright b**chy after my workout. I think it is because I am hungry....yet still have to MAKE dinner. You might be right about the hormones, though. I've never thought of that.0

Any time I have experienced that, it has been because I'm hungry. I get crazy! So, I plan ahead. I have a recovery drink ready then I'm ok till I can get home and cook. It's important to have the right carb/protein ration within 30-60 minutes after your workout.0

Blame the hunger. Otherwise I'm usually in a really good mood after a workout. Being hungry though turns me into a real *****!0

I only get cranky or edgy if I miss a scheduled workout. I usually feel on top of the world after my workouts.0

I have to agree with everyone else here...I get that way when I'm hungry, whether I've just worked out or not. I don't remember being like that when I was younger, but within the last few years I've noticed it more and more. Eat at least a little something as soon as you finish working out and see if that helps. :-)0

Only if I am hungry, like the others. Usually I want to pour myself a glass of wine and take a shower with my boyfriend immediately after a workout.0

This is totally me. I must get the runner's high going on or something, but I'm always super happy and energized after my workouts.0
