I think professional sports and celebrities in general are too highly regarded by most.
Freebird and Stairway to Heaven are over-rated.
I gave Stranger Things a good 1.5 season chance and just don't like it. I think it panders to Gen-Xers relying a bit too heavily on references to 80s culture.
Bradbury and Orwell are, unfortunately, a bit more accurate than I had previously thought.8 -
I’ve said this in the previous unpopular opinion but - the Beatles and stones along with other so called iconic bands u2 and the like are overrated - they all have some decent songs - but just not great to me - but my fav band of all time is blind Melon so what do I know3

Oh now you've gone to far. Dogs are way better except they hog the bed more.
And I have to agree about G.O.T., was never a fan and never saw the hype.
Never been a Star Wars fan or super heroes fan of any kind.
But I was stuck to my floor watching the Ed Sullivan show when the Beatles came on for the 1st time. Back then, they were IT, a strong 10. Now, listening to their music I could give a 5. Maybe.1 -

marvel/superhero movies are trash.
they didn't start as trash, but they turned that way years ago and i can't wait for the bubble to pop.
but Scorcese is wrong too. his movies aren't much better in the end, except for the acting. Deniro's CGI blue eyes in the Irishman absolutely ruined the movie.6 -

I think equality is a terrible idea because people have many unique factors that make them who they are. Some people are not rocket scientists and some rocket scientists couldn't clean a toilet well enough to be a janitor. I think someday that we will learn to be comfortable enough in society to address this issue.4

I agree.
'Equality' by itself is not an American value. By virtue of a capitalist system (which is better than anything else available), some will excel and others will not. So it goes.
Everyone should have equal opportunities, but in the real world, some achieve and succeed and others fall short.
.... and yes, some folks have a head-start in life. This is unavoidable.1 -
