Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: Weight back down to normal. I resisted the Dunkin Donuts and muffins that showed up in our faculty lunchroom. This month is one that I can't wait to be over with. My family birthdays started on Dec 4 doesn't end till Dec 19th then the holidays with parties out and another birthday right after the New Years. I WILL BE GOOD!!!! I will keep telling myself. I am out for celebrations 3 times this week starting today. Have a awesome week.

Successes: 1:42:20 Half marathon yesterday for a brand new PR of over 40 minutes!

Struggles: I still look to food as a reward system, and I'd like to not. I just ran this race so of course I need 2x the amount of food I actually need, or a bunch of food I dont actually need ever. I'm hanging out at the upper end of my self imposed maintenance range, and I'd like to see if I can bring it down to hanging out around my lower end to see how I feel, and how I perform

HEAVIEST weight: 175.4 in early 2013.
    Total Weight lost: 30 pounds
Time it took to lose: ~6 months
How long in maintenance: Since July 2018 -- but with some fluctuation outside of goal range.
Maintenance weight range: 142 - 148 (and not sure that's the right answer)

Average weight recorded from 2017 (12 months): 163.8
Average weight recorded from 2018 (12 months): 150.7

Average weight recorded from January: 148.4
Average weight recorded from February: 146.3
Average weight recorded from March: 143.2
Average weight recorded from April: 143.0
Average weight recorded from May: 144.1
Average weight recorded from June: 145.6
Average weight recorded from July: 146.5
Average weight recorded from August: 145.8
Average weight recorded from September: 143.2
Average weight recorded from October: 142.3
Average weight recorded from November: 144.4

    Average weight Week of...
    November 24 - 30: 144.7
    December 1 - 8: 144.7

I moved my weigh-in day from Monday to Sunday this month strictly for convenience. The November 25 - December 1 weight I reported for the end of November was 144.9

Success of the week: My November weight trend was consistent even though it was higher than I want. This week's number is actually down from my last report for November because of the date switch, but with the date change it's exactly the same. That's maintenance, right? I'm in the middle of my range, so the answer should be YES.

Struggle of the week: I ended November on a high weight. Oh well. It's still there. Yes, it's the middle of my range, but my range is skewed with not much room below my goal weight and a lot of wiggle room above it. I need to remind myself that despite being over goal, I am actually maintaining. Not ideal, but maybe I need to view this as acceptable or else move my range so my goal is in the middle and get back focused on bringing the number back down.

    Dec 29

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: No real struggles this week. Weight was up today, but trend is the same. And since I'm still a little under my range it is not a problem that it is up it, is actually good.

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: Thanksgiving was amazing!!<3:smiley: No family drama, thank goodness & everything went super smoothly! The food was absolutely delicious! I definitely didn't over eat, though (I just ate until I was satisfied)! I eat around 2500-2700 calories a day to maintain (if I eat less than that, I lose weight) & I'm certain that I didn't exceed that even though I didn't log my food. I weighed myself the next day & found that I had maintained on the dot!! Even though I know my calories, I have to admit, I was pretty surprised! :D:D:D

Despite the holidays, I got 6 out of 7 days of exercise in (my goal)! I'm feeling really good about my body, how toned it's getting, & my weight range!

Wishing everyone a wonderful week!! <3:smiley::blush:

I have to inquire, what the heck do you do for a living where you walk 15000 steps?

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: in the city all week, getting lots of extra steps in, just moving from point a to point b. Upped my calories a bit this week, holding pretty steady as I enter two weeks of holiday celebrations and I suspect plenty of “extras”. Preparing for a holiday bump in my weight, trying to be comfortable with it, knowing it’s just how life works :)

I don't think today's weight is real. I donated blood yestetday.

I post my average weight for the week, but I have a spreadsheet to calculate it. Just using a one-day weight would show my crazy up-and-down variations, and they aren't "REAL" either.

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: My weight was up by a lot this week due to a combination of factors, including being sick, TOM, two holiday parties, and eating out two other times. I still managed to get in workouts on 6 days (although I did take it easy for the first half of the week since I wasn't feeling great) and I kept up with my steps.

    December 9 - 15: 144.6

I moved my weigh-in day from Monday to Sunday this month strictly for convenience. The November 25 - December 1 weight I reported for the end of November was 144.9

Success of the week: I may have stopped the slow creep up that started at the end of September. My one-day scale weight got back to goal today, and that only happened one other day since the last week in October. It looks like my weight trend is finally coming back down, too. There's a possibility I could get my weight trend down to goal before the end of the year. I had a bump in October through November last year, and it was even higher than now, so I should be pleased. I will be more pleased when the trend comes back down.

Struggle of the week: It's mid December, which is always a struggle for me. The earliest sunsets of the year in the northern hemisphere were last week - 16:33 where I live. This week we start the shortest daylight at eight hours 49 minutes. The sun will continue to rise later until early January. On the mass thing... I still have a couple pounds on my trend to get where I think I should be, but if I keep the scale where it is, that should happen next week.

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: It's been a busy couple of weeks - so busy I forgot to check in last week. Still battling to even out calorie intake and avoid the huge swings between days that have characterized the last few weeks. I've been having a lot more cravings than usual and temptation is all too close at hand. All in all, though, I'm happy with where things stand, particularly given life challenges lately. Have a great week, everyone.
