Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: Not surprised on the weight this morning, though Wednesday night I weighed about 156. That said retirement party at work, Son’s graduation party with family started Thursday night and continues through the weekend. Been counting and measuring as best I can and staying within goal but much of my calories coming from sweets, so expected a water spike. Things will come down next week.

Struggles: Caught the winter cold funk. Had a fever that peaked at 102. Had lots of ramen and ice cream to help me feel better. Was unable to run this week. Trend keeps going up, probably helped by no runs at all this week. I'm starting to come through it. Hoping to start running again this week.

I moved my weigh-in day from Monday to Sunday this month strictly for convenience. The November 25 - December 1 weight I reported for the end of November was 144.9
Success of the week: I may have stopped the slow creep up that started at the end of September. My one-day scale weight got back to goal today, and that only happened one other day since the last week in October. It looks like my weight trend is finally coming back down, too. There's a possibility I could get my weight trend down to goal before the end of the year. I had a bump in October through November last year, and it was even higher than now, so I should be pleased. I will be more pleased when the trend comes back down.
Struggle of the week: It's mid December, which is always a struggle for me. The earliest sunsets of the year in the northern hemisphere were last week - 16:33 where I live. This week we start the shortest daylight at eight hours 49 minutes. The sun will continue to rise later until early January. On the mass thing... I still have a couple pounds on my trend to get where I think I should be, but if I keep the scale where it is, that should happen next week.

Still battling to even out calorie intake and avoid the huge swings between days that have characterized the last few weeks. I've been having a lot more cravings than usual and temptation is all too close at hand. All in all, though, I'm happy with where things stand, particularly given life challenges lately. More use of food as comfort, but had a good past 4-5 days. Don’t want to gain my weight back.
Scale is up, but this was a planned experiment. I lost wt before the Thanksgiving trip & planned to lose whatever I needed to in December. I was optimistic that I could do this given my successes in November. What I didn’t account for was suddenly I’ll cat who needed surgery & several other things that all hit at once.
Things have settled down. She’s doing GREAT!
Working to lose weight these final days of 2019!
Goal: 155 or lower on New Year’s 2020.
Regardless, I’ve kept my average weights between 152 and 157 from Nov 2018 thru Nov 2019

Successes/struggles: The scale fluctuations this week have been ridiculous. The 48.9 kg last Monday didn’t last, down to 48.4 on Wednesday, 48.1 on Thursday and again on Friday morning. Then I went away for couple of days. Two nights of three course dinners plus full breakfast (I had cereal, fruit, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and toast both mornings), and another 3 course meal for Sunday lunch. However, we did lots of walking and I had a 40 minute swim on Saturday evening. So, this morning the scale read 49.3 kg! Well, I obviously didn’t gain 1.2 kg (about 2.6 lb) in two days so I wait to see what happens in the next few days.
My average weight over the last 2 weeks has been about 48.5 kg as is the trend on Libra so I'm not panicking.
This week should be quiet apart from a visit to the theatre with my daughter and two grandchildren. So I can get back to my routines of cardio, gym, sensible eating.5 -

Struggle: It was an extra busy week for me and didn't log 3 of the days (unusual for me).
Success: With all of the extra higher calories foods around due to company, I didn't gain any weight.

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: Guess I’m not retaining any water now? That said I am taking a break from lifting as I have tendentious in my bicep. I also cut my cardio in half this past week. Strange drop I had to weigh three times this morning as I have been traveling all week, county calories and staying in maintenance goal while enjoying the holiday treats.

Struggles: 6 pound spike. Not sure what caused it. Hopefully just some temporary water retention from bad diet. Let's get back to it. Fitting in runs consistently throughout the week is so tough so I usually end up cramming them in in just 2/3 days. UGH

Success of the week: Sticking pretty much dead in the middle of my maintenance range. Surviving the darkest day of the year. Today we have a whole extra SECOND of daylight where I live; we had 14 seconds less yesterday than the day before, and I'm glad the daylight is returning.
Struggle of the week: My maintenance range is pretty big, so mid way through it is heavier than my goal. I would like to get to a slightly smaller maintenance range that's about two pounds lower than where I'm maintaining right now. I will get there, but it is a bit of a struggle.

Struggles: not many to be honest, there were a couple of days when I had to speak severely to myself to get that first cardio session done before breakfast, but it’s only 10 minutes and I know I will feel better afterwards.
