Oops! I forgot to post even though weighed on Monday. I'm disappointed that I didn't make the 10 pounds thanks to some major emotional eating the second half of the month :grumble:. But now I've removed some negative influences in my life and even though the "extraction" was very painful, I will be better in the long run. And by golly, I'm ready to tear it up in September!!

I'm quite pleased with 6.6lbs loss for the month. I didn't really have much of a plan because I was starting out but now I konw more what I'm doing I think I'll see bigger results in the future.

I had a respectable weight loss for this month, it could have been more (I did have a week of vacation so I cut myself some slack). Given that I will be making some changes to my weight loss goals now (I recently learned I am pregnant!) I will not be joining you all for the September challenge. i am 6'2 and i thought that around 190 i would find some muscles in my belly, now i think i might need to get down to 185 in addition to doing some weights that focus on that and the persistent love handles i have.
quit smoking in july (39 out of 42 days smoke free) and lost 7 lbs in august so i will take that.
