**Challenge: From December 12-June 12 Loose Weight**

Hello everyone! I am currently 257ish pounds (haven't weighed myself since Monday). I would like to start a challenge for people looking to lose weight and stay accountable with our community here on myfitnesspal (without going overboard like some challenges). The challenge I pose is simple, lose weight (any amount) consistently for 14 weeks while keeping us posted about your progress every other Thursday each month starting tomorrow (December 12th). If it helps you can use the template below to join in and keep track of your progress. Please keep in mind that losing weight can be hard. There will be days where you overeat and get off track. This is what we in this group are here for.
Hopefully, the extra week in between weigh-ins can give you time to get back on track if you lose your way. Let us move forward together and reach our weight loss goals! Good luck and I look forward to getting to know you all.

Tell us about why you want to lose weight: I had lost a lot of weight five years ago and become really fit but then I recently lost it all and gained too much and ate bad and became quite unfit. So I am trying to be better to myself and look better and get fitter!

Hello everybody! I'm a working professional working long stressful days and a busy mom. The pounds have creep on over the past 10 years and it's been impossible to lose weight.
I'm looking to start a healthier life style for my overall health and avoid Diabetes and early joint and heart complications. Just want to get healthy, body,mind and spirit.
Plus I want to look better for a summer beach trip.

Hello! I’m a mom to three, a 9 yo, 6 yo, and the youngest is 6 months and breastfeeding. She’s starting to eat real food and I want to loose the extra weight while I can still enjoy eating extra bf calories. My goal is to be at my best feel weight by May 28...I *think* that will be 135-145lbs (I am 5’7”). I have clothes that fit when I felt great and so I will use those to decide my goal weight. I enjoy weight lifting and hiking but I’m not currently doing either and would like to add in more movement to each day.

Insanely hard to limit myself and not overindulge on Christmas treats, but luckily my in laws were eating healthy so staying on track was easier than doing it on my own

Hi everyone! I’m late to the party, hope you don’t mind me joining?!
So I’ve put so much weight on, and now I need to lose around 45kgs. I really got into mixed martial arts and kickboxing but since then I’ve moved country and haven’t managed to get to any classes although given my new size I’m not sure I’d go anyway. I go on holiday to visit my family on June 12 so this challenge is perfect. Hoping to lose around 25kgs by then 🤞 so I’ll add today’s weight and then join in with you guys
