HEAVIEST weight: 175.4 in early 2013.
    Total Weight lost: 30 pounds
Time it took to lose: ~6 months
How long in maintenance: Since July 2018 -- but with some fluctuation outside of goal range.
Maintenance weight range: 142 - 148 (and not sure that's the right answer)

Average weight recorded from 2017 (12 months): 163.8
Average weight recorded from 2018 (12 months): 150.7

Average weight recorded from January: 148.4
Average weight recorded from February: 146.3
Average weight recorded from March: 143.2
Average weight recorded from April: 143.0
Average weight recorded from May: 144.1
Average weight recorded from June: 145.6
Average weight recorded from July: 146.5
Average weight recorded from August: 145.8
Average weight recorded from September: 143.2
Average weight recorded from October: 142.3
Average weight recorded from November: 144.4

    Average weight Week of...
    November 24 - 30: 144.7
    December 1 - 8: 144.7
    December 9 - 15: 144.6
    December 16 - 22: 145.1
    December 23 - 29: 145.0

Success of the week: Well cover me in chocolate and dip me in ants; my average weight actually went down a tiny bit this week. I'm not sure how that happened because I had a really BIG day and a bunch of days that have been higher than I like. The December trend is actually really flat, and my current weight is still pretty much dead in the middle of my maintenance range. I will continue to push for a little lower in the range, and at the same time I need to say "nice work" for being in maintenance for 18 months.

Struggle of the week: I'm not going to repeat what I have written the last few weeks; same struggle.

@MadisonMolly2017 - can you look back farther to see if this is a seasonal thing? Did you have a December bump last year? I seem to be having that ... again.... For the third time since I actually have been paying attention.

Your maintenance range is TINY. It's amazing how well you have done. What would it feel like to expand that from two to maybe five pounds? That's double your range now, but it's only +/- 2.5 pounds. It would be like +/- 3% of your body weight. You still might have some struggles/challenges. Like the rest of us

    Thank you @mtaratoot

I am considering changing my maintenance range to 153-158
159 is definitely too high. LoL
Between 153 & 158, all that changes is my waist & above belly button. I’m happiest at 153.

If I look at my monthly average weights since reaching 155, they have been between 152 and as of today 158, so perhaps that makes sense.

I looked back. I tend to gain in July & not lose until the weather cools in Sept. last December I lost because no social, no trips, no family gatherings. I decided not to miss out this Dec.

The trick now is to get back to 155 ASAP.

Ok I’m going to shift my maintenance range Jan 1.

    153-157 or 152-158 or 155-157

I’m deathly afraid of a runaway train which is why I kept it under 155.

How long in maintenance: I hit my goal weight in the beginning of January 2018, but officially started maintenance in mid-March 2018 after figuring out my calories for a couple of months.
    Maintenance weight range: 108-111.5
Average weight recorded from 2018 (12 months): 109.8

Average weight recorded from January: 111
Average weight recorded from February: 110.8
Average weight recorded from March: 110.6
Average weight recorded from April: 110.0
Average weight recorded from May: 109.9

Average weight recorded for August: 111.9
Average weight recorded for September: 112.6
Average weight recorded for Oct: 112.2
Average weight recorded for Nov: 111.3

    Week of..
    Dec 7: 110.7 (trend 111)
    Dec 14: 112 (trend 111.5)
    Dec 21: 111 (trend 111.3)
    Dec 28: 111.5 (trend 111.4)

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: At the top of my range for the past couple of weeks, which isn't too bad considering it was a planned surplus week with being away and Christmas (with one day being an estimated 3100 calories!). I got in lots of steps (over 110k for the week of Dec 21 and a few thousand less than that for the week of Dec 28) and kept up with my workouts. This coming week will continue with another surplus week for New Year's.

How long in maintenance: I called maintenance in July 2016, but I continued to slowly lose until December of 2017. I have been in maintenance since December 2017
    Maintenance weight range: 115 - 120 lbs

Average weight recorded from 2018: 118.8

Average weight recorded for Oct: 113.7
Average weight recorded for November: 113.6

    Week of..
    Dec 1: 113.0 scale/ 113.3 trend
    Dec 8: 114.0 scale/113.3 trend
    Dec 15: 114.8 scale/ 114.0 trend
    Dec 22: 113.4 scale/ 114.0 trend
    Dec 29: 113.0 scale/ 114.4 trend

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: My weight went up to 116.4 with the trend going up to 114.6, but it was down a bit this morning. And overall it is staying relatively flat. I had a really good Christmas and ate all the foods I wanted. But I still got in a nice amount of activity with some good runs this week so everything seems to be balancing out. I think I will end December with a slightly higher average weight than the last couple of months, but since I am still a little below my range I think that it good.

@Spencerport - I think I recall this was your plan. So good on you for following the plan. Looking forward to seeing you back at goal. My fat man escaped, too, but it wasn't my plan. I'm still in my range, so it's not SO bad, but it needs to be reined back in.

End of the year indulgences while visiting family were relatively modest, and I was able to get in a bit more exercise than I thought I'd be able to do. I'm happy to be starting the new year on a good note - and not having to worry about buckling down and losing holiday gains is a plus.
