Hi! I am new to this type of site but not new to dieting - Have done it my whole life - mainly Atkins for over 20 years - I am in my 60's, in fact turning 70 this year and it is a lot harder to lose. I retired 18 months ago and gained 35 lbs from my own home cooking - Now I need to lose it by my birthday in October - for my overall health and to wear the clothes in my closet - 4 years ago I was at 129 and stayed there for over 2 years - lots of work-outs, walking and careful eating.
I am a very detail oriented person and hope by logging everything I eat - I can make it!

I’m 67 and I know what you mean! It has taken me years to lose 26 pounds but I haven’t gained thanks to MFP friends support!0
