Hello, I am new to the MyFitnessPal app & also new to the Keto diet. I’m having trouble reaching my macros for Fats. I’ve stayed under my Carb allotment though! Protein is varying with being under or over a few grams. Can I still have success on this diet as long I don’t go over my carbs? Advice/ experience is greatly appreciated!!

Yes, low carbs is the main objective. Fat is more a limit than a goal and its purpose is to keep you full. I'm 2 months in and it's working pretty well. I'm just getting into the Intermittent fasting along with it now.3

On the whole it makes sense to think of carbs as a limit, protein as a goal (and going over is fine), and then fat for satiety.
However, you don't want to be eating overly low cals, so if you are struggling with that, you will want to think of ways to address it.
There's a good low carb group here: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/394-low-carber-daily-forum
I think when you click you have to ask to be admitted, but they take everyone (I was a member for a while, but not keto-ing anymore), and there's a lot of great advice.2 -
Just started Keto two weeks ago, I am down to 197.4 from 207 which amazed me. I was so sick of goodies from the holidays it made transitioning so easy. I aim for 20-60 carbs daily. I have blood sugar crashes (70-74) if I am on 20 carbs too long, from Atkins experience. I read the book by Dr Colbert Keto Zone, so I try to follow his macro division. It takes practice. My husband is type 2 diabetic and Keto has done wonders for his blood sugar numbers!3

Most Keto sites say Protein, then Fat, then Carbs. Keto Zone says Fat, then Protein, then carbs. Confusing. Does it really matter?0

The important point of keto is to keep carbs low and keep carbs nutritious with vitamins and phytonutrients.
Also, it is useful to recall that carbohydrates are not essential to life. Protein is essential and fat is essential. There are some biochemical details that I won't go into, but it is enough to point out that eggs, oily fish, and grass-fed beasts are optimum sources of protein and fat. Once you get deeper into understanding the nutrition you'll learn why the omega fats ratio are so important.
If you want to do keto in the vegan style, others will advise ways to achieve that.
