Anyone who knows me on MFP knows that I LOVE hosting 12 week challenges full of progress tracking and colorful charts. If that is what you are looking for, you will NOT find it here. I am starting this thread for all of you (and myself) that are looking for a place to help keep you held accountable. Maybe you have a lot to lose, maybe a little, maybe you are just maintaining. This thread is for anyone who wants to be honest with themselves and is looking for a public forum to post weights and/or measurements to stay accountable. You can set a goal and/or mini-goals for yourself or just post your weight.
Join me for (x amount of time) of accountability, motivation, support, and encouragement.
What do you need to do to join? Simply choose any day of the week that you want to weigh in and post weight and/or measurements, introduce yourself by stating your current weight/measurement and goal. Then just post your stats weekly for as long or as little as you want. You won't receive any reminders to post weight and you won't be "kicked out" of the group for not participating. EVERYONE is always welcome at ANY TIME.

I'd love to! I had started 2 different groups and they have both just fizzled out..
I weigh in every Wednesday and this past Weds I weighed 162.2 (my starting weight was 175.6). My measurements are:
Arms: 11"
Ribs: 30"
Waist: 28"
Lovehandles: 35"
Hips: 40.5"
Thigh: 24"

I started at 225. I'm currently at 185.6! My goal is 115!0

I started at 178 and am down to 174. I am only 6 days in to my new accountablility. I feel really good because I am eating better and feeling better. I don't know what my goal is because I have always been over weight. I think maybe 130 or better, we will see.0

Awesome, I'd like to do this. I will be honest, I have not been good with keeping track of other challenges. But this seems nice and flexible.
I've been doing this since April 2011. I have lost about 34 lbs so far. I just watch my calories (of course) and I workout at home with the Leslie Sansone videos. I am currently at 239 lbs. I don't really have a goal weight in mind yet, although I have seen that around 130-150 is a healthy weight for me.
My mini goal this week is to NOT overdo it this weekend for the huge BBQ I am hosting for the labor day weekend. Beer is my enemy at these functions!
I would like to be at 235 by September 9th.0 -

My name is Vic. Since January I have lost 33 lbs and I am in my goal weight range. I'm having a tummy tuck in December to get rid of the skin that didn't shrink along with the rest of my body. My goal is to lose 5 lbs by December or maintain my current weight. I've completed 60 days of Insanity, 12 weeks of TurboFire, 12 weeks of P90X, and I'm about to start 12 weeks of P90X/TurboFire Hybrid.

I'm jumping on! I love having something/someone to be accountable to. It helps to keep me going and, to be perfectly honest, I haven't been doing so well with my tracking lately. I'm hoping when summer's over (and therefore the BBQs, parties and travelling) it will be easier and I'll be able to jump right back in.

Hi, I'm 23 and a post-grad student. Since starting on the 4th January 2011 at 232lbs, I've lose 56.5lbs and am now 175.5lbs.
My goal is to be at 164lbs (just inside the “healthy” range for my BMI) or 163lbs (30% starting body weight lost) by Christmas...but preferably before. Though to be honest right now I'm fitting into my goal size of clothes (UK12) so I'm going to keep this number flexible and if I think I'm getting “too small” for my frame then I'll reassess. I really don't want to lose my curves – my actual curves like my hips and boobs...not my belly and love handles...though to be fair I think my love handles have gone and despite my waist definitely being back, I only have a bit of belly left.
I go back to finish my masters at the end of September, so the last little bit of weightloss is going to be harder to concentrate on when the workload piles on, so this is a great thread to help keep me motivated.
Current Weight (As of today): 175.5 lbs.

Hi my name is Heather! When I started on here at 140lbs I was doing really good and lost 10 lbs. Then I got a little bad, but still maintained my weight but didn't lose any. Got back on track and lost a couple more pounds, then my boyfriends birthday happened, it started with cheesecake and went violently down hill after that. Five days later way my birthday, after that week I gained back a couple more pounds...
I have been doing pretty good this week, not too much exercise but I have been very good with eating! I want to get back on track and be good again and this would be perfect!

Hi. My name is Andrea and I am ready to get back on track. I had done really well during the spring but summer has been tough. My overall weight loss is 85 lbs and while I have been able to maintain this I have been unable to break through to the next level. I faithfully excersize but struggle with food issues! I had a crazy summer too and am back on track now. I think we are at about the same place. My highest weight was 230...YIKES. I have kept a good amount off for a few years and am now at 150ish but would love to lose another 15. Lots of struggles to get there and could use the support of this thread!0 -
