20+ lbs in 30 day Challenge

Just entered in to a company sponsored weight loss challenge. I have never dieted but imagine I have 30+ to loss. Is 20lbs in a month realistic with stringent diet and exercise?

But seriously, absolutely not. You should be aiming at .5 - 1.5 lbs per week, depending on your personal goals, current weight and goal weight.0
