Count me in! I haven't done a chin-up in YEARS (maybe since gym-class physicals, haha)0
-
I'd like to join if it's not too late. I'm at 0 for 8/1/11.0

What programs are you all using to improve your chinup numbers. I've been at 5 chinups (and 2.5 pullups) for months now, although, truth be told, I don't regularly practice chinups.0

Sorry, i've been missing in action. I attempted my chin up and got a big fat ZERO. Am i supposed to enter it into the spreadsheet? Cos i dont know how:S
Just give me zero's for weeks 1 and 20 -
@ Emma1488, the starter of the thread will enter the information in for you
I'm so excited, I just did 6.5 chinups yesterday. Two times, no less! :-D I did it twice because I told my husband after I did it the first time, and he wanted to see me do it again (I don't think he believed me, lol). He can do 12 chinups, so if I could do more chinups than he could, I would be over the moon (I'm competitive like that).
I haven't been doing regular sets of chinups to train, but I do take one pole dance class a week, and one aerial silks class a week, and both of those classes definitely help with upper body strength (expecially climbing the aerial silks -- killer).0 -
Has anyone done their chin ups for September?0
-
Well, not sure if anyone is still out there, but I did 8 chinups! That's a gain of 3 chinups for me.0
-
That's great!
Myself, still at 0. BUT I'm getting to where I can pull myself partway up, so I'm definitely making progress. We'll see where I am October 1.0 -
I'm only up to 5 chin-ups at this point... still practicing!0
-
October 1.
Chin-ups: Still 0.
I -can- get my eyes to the bar but that's it. Still that's pulling myself 6 inches off the ground...
I'm closer than I was but I really slacked on doing push-ups and negatives this month. I need to up my game. My birthday is next month so I'm going to really focus on getting to at least 1 chin-up by November.0 -
I think that's more than 6 inches if you're starting from a dead hang. Keep it up.
I did 7 chinups. That's 1 less than last month. :-( I was packing and moving to a new city, so didn't really work out last month at all.0
