Whether it's for nutritional value, taste, or other...
I've recently fallen in love with toasted sesame seed oil. Pouring a little bit on veggies or stir fries goes a long way.

Cilantro. Makes even the blandest salad more tasty. I drop fresh leaves on my eggs too. Delicious!11

Flake sea salt for sprinkling on anything. It adds a little salty crunch. And you don’t need much.8

Plain greek yogurt. You can use it for savory things, as a sour cream replacement (my favorite method) and of course for sweet too.

Sour cream. I feel like in a lot of dishes it can substitute for cheese (and/or salad dressing) without my even noticing there's no cheese. A dollop in most soups, lentils, beans, makes it creamy and delicious. I like full fat or light sour cream, either one.6

I recently discovered Harissa seasoning. Good on veggies. Olives. Fries. Popcorn.4

My cousin and I both claim that sour cream should have it's own special food group because it's so good.4 -
A good hot sauce. I know spice isn't for everyone, but I go through bottles of it. It makes even the blandest food taste exciting.15

Liquid smoke. Adds a really nice savory flavor to things. I use it a lot with eggs and other savory dishes. I'll mix in a tiny bit to salad dressing to really amp it up.5

Agreed. And since cilantro was mentioned, I'll say dill.6 -
If you like Asian food I would say fresh ginger. I never could get the right flavor until I realized what a difference it makes. That and Sesame oil.14

Ground Golden Flaxseed. Nice flavor, all the Omegas of fish oil without the smell, ALA to help fight inflammation & they help control hunger. I add this stuff to at least half of my meals.5

Has to be cayenne pepper powder 👌🔥3

I use this a lot as well!!!1 -
If I have to pick just one, it's probably Penzey's Fox Point/Justice. They're the same spice blend, except Fox Point has salt and Justice doesn't. I put it in and on everything; notable examples include scrambled eggs, pizza, pasta, and beans.
If I can list more than one, let me know3 -
For me it has to be Sriracha sauce, it's great on eggs, chicken, soups, stews and many other things😋

The problem with using ALAs for omega-3s is that it's not clear they are sufficient to provide DHA/EPA. That's basically only in fatty fish, sea vegetables, and supplements (including algae based ones).

Seeds that contain ALA can be tasty or good sources of other nutrients too, however (often they have some protein and fiber). I'd use flaxseed more if grinding it weren't a pain.0 -
Plain old black pepper.6

I prefer the Justice blend because I like to adjust salt myself, so I always go for salt-free seasonings when I can. But I highly recommend both https://www.penzeys.com/online-catalog/justice/c-24/p-3228/pd-s
If you happen to live near a Penzey's, you can go smell all the spices in the store.2 -
Around here, sometimes I think what's underused is ingredients people actually enjoy, vs. think they have to eat because they're "so healthy" , without consideration of the actual macros/micros!
But seriously:
Miso (various types, but I especially like sweet white miso and the really dark ones)
Cumin
Unsweetened cocoa/cacao powder (in savory dishes like stews, chili, etc.)
Raw sauerkraut
And maybe just because I'm vegetarian, smoked tofu.6 -
Fresh ginger
Crushed red Pepper
Fresh rosemary
Sweet Baby Rays Buffalo wing sauce (mix one serving in with a serving of Bolthouse Farms yogurt ranch dressing and you've got yourself a killer salad dressing that's like, 70 calories AND enough to feel like you're eating a much better salad than you are)

If I had to pick one, I'd go with Bragg's Liquid Aminos. Umami flavor that is so versatile. We don't keep soy sauce in the house anymore now that we have it, too.1
