Fitbit attached to old MFP account

How do I connect my fitbit to my new MFP account. When I try to sync them it says already connected to an old account and can only be attached to one account at a time. I've contacted MFP and Fitbit but no joy. Any advice please

    Same happened to me... unresolved at this point, but commenting here in case someone else has the answer!

    If you can't remember your password for the old MFP account, unsync on the Fitbit side (under Settings -> Applications). Then link again from MFP.

    Ask support to delete old account, unsynch Fitbit, or reset password.

    Change email and account with Fitbit and sync new Fitbit account with MFP

    You basically need to cut the connection.

    Pretend you sold your Fitbit to the new you
