Hi, I am Anna, new use of this App. After 5 days of recording on diary, took negative calories as suggested, and at times skip meals, I have gained 1.5 Ibs... wondering what happened?

Water. It even happens to men, but for women, more so. Track your menstrual cycle to see if that's a factor, and also see if you've eaten anything particularly salty lately. Even if not, other things make you hold onto water, like heavier exercise than usual. It's just the way of the human body. It will come back off.0

I’ve spent two week in an aggressive deficit and haven’t lost a pound. All of a sudden, I’m down 5 lbs in two days. Weight loss is not linear. You need to give your body 2-3 weeks to adjust and catch up. Especially when you are just jumping into it. Patience is key.0
