(hit my goal of 125.4, but had a temporary weekend gain on the final Monday weigh-in)
Ultimate goal weight: 124lb (maintenance is 123-126)
Goal weight for this round: 124.4
1/28 125.6 Happy with that! Down 1.4 from yesterday, I knew that weekend gain was fake. Had a good eating day yesterday, made an awesome low-cal chicken fajita bake for dinner. Drank 96oz of water!

My main goal this month is to get my daily steps in, also we've started using the stairs at the office (we're on the 6th floor of a shared office building), it's turning into a bit of a challenge between us
I've started doing it at home as well as we live on the 4th floor, but we can't always do that as we often have shopping to bring up.

I'm not having much time to do anything but run around getting stuff done. Tonight we're visiting 2 high schools for my daughter as we have to decide for enrollment next week, I think I'll just grab an energy bar somewhere so I don't end up starving and eating the wrong thing at one of the open days treats

1/28-163-Was expecting a loss after a big walk and good eating, then....I was out and about and got stung in the back of the neck by a bee. Farmers have the hives in their orchards, ready for the trees to bloom, but there isn’t anything for the bees to eat and they are hungry, especially after their night of IF! I went to the corner store and bought Benadryl, a corn dog and chocolate donuts.......the wheels had definitely come off. I gained control by dinner and ate sensibly. Off to the gym.15 -

Do you take measurements? I’m terrible at that myself but if you are losing FAT and gaining MUSCLE your weight may not change but your body composition will. A pound is a pound but muscle takes up less space! - Jpv, 11/22/19

Ummm, I wasnt, but I'll certainly find out. I am using way too much of it now. The serving size of the brand I use is 1/2 tsp. I only use it for coffee and most days I drink 2 cups. My stevia use has increased to 1•1/2 tsp per cup. That's way too much. I don't think it affects my weight and it doesn't make me crave sweets, but I don't want to be consuming that much of it.8 -

The man upstairs always has a plan. I know the worry about paying bills, etc is a real one. Tossing and turning understood. However, remember to keep the faith. There is a divine reason for everything that is not always obvious at first look.

01/28 …..189.9 ….. TMI helped. I think there is some exercise inflammation today. Very very sore from the long school walk. Walked for 2 hours and 7 minutes at a pretty good pace burning 743 calories. Another 28 minute walk burned an additional 125 calories for a total burn of 868. Incomplete logging as I fell asleep early & exhausted. Yay me. I slept 6 hours & 29 minutes. A guesstimate of calories in are about 1800. Calories out 2834. 23,076 total steps & 10.18 Total Miles. 13/13 fitbit step hours. TRAVEL TODAY taking brother for some hospital testing including liver ultrasound. I will be leaving shortly and will be back sometime after dark tonight. I am going to try to stay strong & not upset the balance of my progress in my sugar levels. 1/28- 148 bump up on the first day, and going out to eat tonight- I will do my best but at this point if I’m not super strict I get no where.
I’m also starting a biggest loser challenge on Monday that runs 16 weeks. I think I stand a chance to get honorable mention in the percentage category. I’m going to relax for the weekend because 16 weeks of hard, hard work is coming. Lol it lines up that my first 10k Viking race is in 14 weeks and I’ll be training for that too.

This year I saw numbers I never believed I'd see again. I'm back below the obesity mark and intend to stay. Ten years ago I promised myself no birthday or gastric bypass "surgiversary" would find me obese again. I'm revising this to overweight.
Only 28lbs separate overweight and obese and 33lbs a solid normal 24 BMI and obese. Going forward overweight per the charts is no longer acceptable to me.
It's not about the charts. I experience changes with even small shifts in body fat. This round I want to reduce blood pressure and heart rate. I'll only achieve this in the 160's and below. I'll lose as much as I can this round. Low carb, fasting, & fat burning exercise will get me there.

01/28: Nailed my protein goal yesterday (95 grams), ate below calories and had a short but excellent upper body workout. Another really great workout this morning - a new to me lower strength day that kicked my butt and I had time for 25 minutes of cardio on top of it. Followed with a high protein smoothie, great start to the day and challenge for me.

Female, 5’, 66 years. SW – 165, GW – 163 something, UGW – 140. (This really should be 125 or 130 but that seems like such a long ways to go and 140 would be a huge improvement.) The 12 hr. IF along with everything else (portion control, watching calories in foods, exercise) seems to be working well for me.
This round I’m keeping on with IF and want to add getting to the gym 3x a week. I also want to better plan out my gym times. Right now I tend to get into it and spend about 1 ½ hrs. there and unconsciously I think that makes me put it off. If I can make it a real habit, even if it’s only 1 hr., in the end I’m ahead.
