I think I may start putting recipes that I do every night on here but want to know if people really want them....

Im new on here so still trying to figure things out....

Let me know if i should post the recipe. Im gonna go get it started and once its in the oven come back and see if people are interested!!!! :smile:

    You should definitly post. It would also be great if you posted the nutritional content also (ie:cals, sodium, all that good stuff)

    There is a recipe section- I think it's towards the bottom. Would that be a better place? I would love to see the recipe but if I was looking for ideas that is where I would go.:flowerforyou:

  • 1lb lean ground beef (93/7)
    1 can (26oz) fat free refried beans
    1 teaspoon of ground cumin
    3/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
    9 uncooked lasagna noodles
    1 jar (16oz) salsa
    2 cups of water
    2 cups (16oz) fat free sour cream
    1 cup of shredded fat free chesse

    Brown chicken until no longer pink: drain. Add the refried beans, cumin, and garlic powder; heat through.

    Place three noodles in a 13inx9in baking dish coated with cooking spray. Cover with half of the beef mixture. Repeat layers. Top with remaining noodles. Combine salsa and water; pour over noodles.

    Cover and bake at 350 degrees for an hour or until noodles are tender. Spread with sour cream and sprinkle with cheese.

    You can also add olives...shredded lettuce...etc. Which ever you prefer

    Mmm I bet this would be good on my crockpot with no-boil lasagna noodles too. I might have it with ground turkey instead for less calories and bigger serving. Thanks for sharing!
  • sounds good. bumping to try the variation. ive tried a couple other mexican lasagnas that are also good
  • you dont have to boil the noodles on this one!!! the water that is mixed with the salsa softens up the noodles. its covered in the oven so the steam helps as well
