... no, not that sort of project. I'm not looking to fix anyone.
What sorts of projects are you working on that are not related to diet/fitness?
Currently, I'm still working on this monster scarf. I'm down one chart.. of six. Ugh.

I’m very, very slowly giving the master bathroom a facelift - down to just having to do the trim paint and fresh grout and it’ll be finished. I also have two different knitting projects almost finished - a cowl and a hat.3

I am making a bible cover for my son out of an old pair of jeans; drawing up and testing a corset pattern; making a greedy sloth cake topper (for a cake I may make in September); sugar paste trees and things for my son's birthday cake in September; and a fairy house out of clay for my fairy garden. There are other projects but those are the ones I am actually busy with at the moment4

Bumping with my other project. Had to stop because I have no yellow yarn to keep it going.

Job searching. I've been unemployed for about 10 months, but I live in a bit of a rural area where jobs are extremely scarce so it's been tough.5

Finished this up a few days ago. I've moved on to another big project. What are you all working on? Anything?

I have 6 straight razors that need to be sharpened and that needs handles replaced. Finding time to finish these is tough this month.1

Made a dog today out of plastic jugs, felt and hot glue. Only burned myself once.3

Making a photo calendar.2

Planning on making a 79 x 80 chunky wool blanket. 💚 I need to decide on a colour, order my giant needles and yarn, set time aside and get it done. Refuse to arm knit the blanket. 😕3

Built a harvest table, bench and coffee table (not pictured) with old barn wood. Drove out to an old farm and got the wood for free!!! Major score. Brought a chainsaw and sawed off each piece to size in the pouring rain Let the wood dry for a few weeks and went to work. Planing each piece was one of my favourite parts as we got to see the wood for what it was worth… absolutely beautiful patterns with all the wood grains and knots etc... Everything was pieced together using Wedged Mortise and Tenon Joints…Sliding Dovetails and dowels. Not one nail or screw was used. This photo is not the greatest but there are a lot of details and curves and distress to the table and bench that were all hand chiseled. I spent hours in that garage for weeks… loved it!

Wellll, been thinking about repainting my bedroom for months now. Last summer we redid the living room and repainted a bedroom so mine was next on my list of to-do. Seems like soooo much work.
I'm going to make cross-stitch Christmas stockings for my 2 dds. Every Christmas they tease me because my ds, who is now 38, is the only one with a handmade stocking with his name on it. (hey, I got busy with life, what can I say) I've ordered 1 kit to see how it goes. The plan is to finish 1 for each and surprise them next Christmas. But being the procrastinator that I am.......
Back in the day I used to do all kinds of crafty stuff, then I had kids and an in-home daycare so got really tied up with all that living. Lol Now I'm retired and want to DO something but am struggling to find my niche again.
Loving all the projects!!2 -
Finished up this co-effort with my son for Cub Scouts. He cut it out and decided on the design and colors, I painted and did the "adult" work of busting my hands screwing and tapping in wheels and screws. My hands hurt.
This car is loud.. and not a color scheme I would have gone for.
Whatcha' all working on?

We're looking at houses and thinking about moving, so my craft room is being packed up for the now. Plus, no apparel projects til I get done with the major weight loss.
I....plain sew, embroider, do blackwork, silk ribbon work, lucet, spin, crochet, and felt. Would love to get into tablet weaving, but I need another textile hobby like a hole in the head. (Even if I could make my own garters.) I also bake and cook well, and am fond of little homemaking things like making artificial flower arrangements. And I actually like to organize closets and such.2 -
