No Goal - Is This Possible?

Hi all. I have had an on-again-off-again relationship with MFP over the years. I’ve gotten to the point where all I want to do now is to track the amount of calories I am eating/burning. I don’t want a goal weight. I don’t want a focus on losing, gaining or maintaining. Most importantly, I don’t want red or green numbers telling me how much I “should” be eating. I just want to know how much I am eating and be able to log my weight patterns so I can decide upon a caloric intake that’s right for me. Is it possible to do that with this app? If not, does anyone know an app where that is possible?

I don't know of a way to turn off the goal weight but you could set the weight for something that's pretty high, so the numbers are mostly green?

Just change it so that you don't want to lose weight or manually raise your calories above where you think they should be.

Yes -- if you can't ignore the red/green, just pick a high goal so you are always in green and then ignore it.

I log at Cronometer and it also has a goal, but I never notice what it is and haven't bothered resetting it to match what I'm doing now. Maybe that's easier to do there (but you won't be able to miss seeing how you are doing on nutrients, which is what I like about it), but I suspect if your goal was above where you eat you could easily ignore it here too.

Goal weight and initial information sets a default, which you can override. You can set your daily calories and macros. Add and delete some. Like if you don't care to see how much sugar you are eating, you can delete it. I'm just here to see my calories and macros. I totally forgot whatever goal weight I put in.
