Macro help

Can anyone help me with my macro break down? I am 5’11” 253lbs. Goal of 225lbs. Work out 3 days a week. Eating 3 meals a day and 2 snacks (mid morning & mid afternoon). I am looking online for help but it is all over the board. My goal is to lose weight while building muscle.

    Many consider the MFP defaults an okay starting point. The protein is a tad low IMHO, higher protein whilst at a deficit will help preserve existing muscle mass.

    General guidelines:
    Protein 0.6g-0.8g of ideal body weight, or 1g per lb of LBM (lean body mass)
    Fats: 0.35-0.45g per lb ideal weight
    (treat both as minimums)
    Let carbs fall where they may
