Keto help!

Hello! New here but not new to the weight loss journey. I've lost close to 70 pounds since March of 2019 doing keto! My weight loss so far is amazing but these last 30 pounds I want to lose are killing me! I've been pretty much stalled or up and down since the end of December/January. Any advice? Thanks!

I thought there would be better advice. I couldn't really understand the keto diet. I did loose my goal weight in 8 months. Eating protein an fiber. With fruits an vegetables.
What are some meals you enjoy making. Mine is curry lemon bbq chicken, spinach alfredo avocado, vegetable pasta.

Are you tracking your calories and staying in a deficit as well? Logging accurately and consistently?

Yes! I was logging until I knew what I was doing, which did work because I lost all that weight without logging daily after the first couple months. I started again because of this stall and everything is on track, nothing had changed as far as my eating habits. I'm going to look into carb cycling

Perhaps you need to adjust your calories to find the sweet spot you are losing at again. I had to find mine was about 1500

Are you still eating the same amount of calories as when you started? As you get smaller, you need to reduce your calories a bit. Calories determine weight loss, so if you haven't lost weight for almost 2 months, you are eating your maintenance calories. "Tricks" that work to break a plateau do so by getting you into a calorie deficit, whether you are tracking calories or not.

Good luck, I hope you get headed in the right direction again!

The last 30lb were a witch with a capital B! :unamused:
Using keto was the first time I ever actually made it that far, but if I had used any other plan, I would have had the same experience. The closer you are to your goal, the less wiggle room you have. Consistency becomes king if you are looking at consistent progress.

@kimny72 is 100% right. If you're stalled for over a month, that means your calorie intake is too high to lose. I now calorie and carb-cycle for workout performance, but it does nothing special to make you lose weight. Success is in the deficit. It absolutely sucks, but sacrifices will have to be made calorie-wise. :disappointed: It's the nature of the beast (weight loss).

As someone mentioned above, you may need to recalculate your calorie goals. If you haven't gone into your settings/goals recently, I would recommend it. It will give you an updated calorie allowance based on your current weight.
