Total loss: 10 pounds so far (I knew I had a great amount of water weight coming off at first). I finally got on the elliptical two days ago. 20 minutes Wedn. and 30 minutes yesterday. I want to get back to the gym soon. Staying within calories has been going surprisingly well so far. I am sticking to 1200 calories a day, and adding some for exercise. My calorie needs to maintain around 140 pounds (whenever I get there) are quite low from past experience. I need to get to a place where this becomes a lifestyle and not a temporary means to weight loss. I think I am looking at about 1500 to 1600 cal for life to not put it all back on. This must be age and metabolism because I know I used to be able to eat a lot more without gaining weight! (I am 49 years old).

I have been tracking, and I thought I had posted weekly weights, but I can't find them. I have got back down below 150, but it's slow going.

Let's try this again. Never give up! Never give in!
I'm Terri, 74 on 20/04/2020, living in Northern Ireland, 5'2" tall.

This Challenge has given me the impetus to actually keep going, when in the past I have slipped back each time I got near to my goal weight. Thank you so much for all your support and encouragement. It has been invaluable to me.

I am still pushing for that 180's by March 1st! I got out walking for 1.5 hours yesterday, and am starting a new dumbbell weight lifting routine today.
I plan on working out at home, I have many dumbbells, a barbell and a bow flex. It's hard to actually measure weight on the bowflex, so I prefer the free weights.
Is anyone else working out at home?

I stationary bike and treadmill at home along with beginning to use dumbbells. The treadmill and bike have calorie counters on them.
I was hoping to see 189 on Sunday 01 March, but currently 195 does not seem rational to see 189 in 6 days.
I see your snow picture, where do you live?
