There's only two towns in Ohio.

    1. Knockemstiff
    2. .... all the others

I love Ohio. Born and raised in Columbus, lived in Cleveland for a year and Cincinnati for 23 years.

No longer live there. Transfer Ohio communities, ideas and lifestyle down here to Arizona where there is no snow or ice, I would love it. But this old man doesn't deal with winter anymore.

Arizona..... that will be my final resting place. I was station at Davis Montham Air Base back in the mid eighties. Loved it there. I’m thinking Scottsdale area to retire in. 👍🏾
The weather is awesome and natural disasters are low👌🏾

    Are these real places?

    Yep.

Back in the day, two ladies were fussin' over one feller.

(yes, 'feller' after all, this is Southern Ohio that we're talking about.)

Just so happened that one of the ladies was betrothed to this guy & made the comment to the other fine lady:

"You stay away from my fella, or I'll 'Knock You Stiff !!' "

This seemed to be acceptable behavior in this little unnamed hamlet.

Since this rural enclave was nameless & this conversation allegedly occurred on the steps of the local community church, before an assemblage of parishioners, the name "Knockemstiff" was born.

Reminderville, OH is the home of El Chile Bravo.

Although I am partial to the Chili Poblano, they are said to offer the best 'Enchilada Rancheros!' in the greater Twinsville, Ohio area.

    (which is saying a lot!)
