💚 Hello, ladies!!!💚
☘️ Happy March wherever you are in the world! We are well and truly into the new year by this point, so let's keep on keepin' on! We're working hard on our goals and fighting the good fight!
🍀 What are your plans for March and the spring? Are you trying out anything new or sticking to your old, tried and true routine? Let us know how you've been doing! In the last two months, we have had an influx of new members sharing and motivating each other and it's been so wonderful to see!
🟢 If you've never been here before, please know you are welcome to join at any point in the month. All you have to do is post something, and then BAM!, you're one of us.
🟢 In this group, we post our weekly and monthly goals and provide support and motivation to each other as we share our triumphs and our struggles. This group is all about accountability.
🟢 All are welcome and, if you think you belong here, you do! No matter how much you currently weigh or how you measure (or don't measure) your weight, we'd love to hear from you.
🟢 Victories, both scale and non-scale, are great to hear about, but, conversely, we know that weight loss isn't all sunshine and roses. If you're going through a rough patch, please feel free to be honest and vent your heart out. The struggle is real and we're all here to support each other!
💚 We've got this, ladies! Here's to a marvelous March!💚

Hi, I'm new to this group.
SW: 334.7 (1.4.20)
CW: 321.2
GW: 170ish
Ht: 5'6
A little about me.. I used MFP religously back in 2011-2013 but then graduated college, started a job working 70 hours a week and lost most sight of any sort of healthy lifestyle. Fast forward to Dec 2018 - I was in a MVA and ended up in the hospital and inpatient rehab for 98 days. I dislocated my R foot, fractured 5 ribs, punctured my R lung, broke my R wrist, broke my L collarbone, snapped my L femur, and my L tibia/fibula/ankle were shattered along with 7 of my toes. I didn't walk on both feet until August 2019.
My goals for this spring are just to get back into healthy eating and gaining strength back. My left leg, as you can imagine, is fairly weak from not using it for so long. In addition to working my strength back up, I need to lose some of this flab as I found 2 super cute wedding dresses that looked nice now but would look AWESOME a few sizes smaller Wedding is June 2021, so I have some time to make it happen.
I always welcome new MFPals so feel free to add me!34 -
@skierxjes welcome!!3

Hi, I'm new here in general, and just under 200lb but I started my weightloss drive at 210lb in Sept.

I've had arthritis more or less my entire life. First had symptoms at 3yrs old, was misdiagnosed as growing pains, finally diagnosed as arthritis when I was 19. My weight exploded when I suffered a mental breakdown in 20s, and it's just been creeping up. I want to give my joints their best chance since I don't relish have knee replacements in my 40s.
It would be a good 35th bday gift to myself to be halfway to my goal by August.

Goals: let's say we get to a solid 195 this month. We'll start there and see where it goes.
Non-weight goals: continue logging everything in grams, work on getting sodiun intake beneath 2000mg each day, continue getting at least 100g protein each day.
Fitness goals: lift more than 3x this month (lol)
Running: let's go for 25 miles. It's not about the distance, it's about the form. Get the form right.
Thank you so much for doing this, @RavenStCloud 💚💚💚 Happy March, everyone!

My first goal for this month is to continue my “no cookies, ice cream and chips for 25 days” until 3/19!
My goal to loose 1/2 pound to 1 pound a week will continue. It would be nice to get a little cushion before we head to New Orleans on vacation this month👏🏽👏🏽!

Hey everyone, excited to join you for March! Thank you from the bottom of my heart @RavenStCloud for setting up this thread, which has been key to my success since last October!
Height: 5'6"
SW: 236.4 (9/8)
2/29: 195.6
Feb goal: 189.9
My non-scale March goals:
- Exercise at least 15 min per day, 6 days a week. I’ve been struggling on exercise and want to set a manageable goal I know I can meet. I hope to exceed the min time on some days though.
- Water 128 oz. I’ve been drinking much more water the past few days and it has really made a difference in how I feel.
- Intermittent fasting @16/8.
- Eight hours of actual sleep.
Big challenges this month include a short fun trip at the beginning of the month and a conference at the end of the month. Hugs to everyone!17 -
I really like this quote!!

Welcome and welcome back everyone! We'll call this the start of March.

I squeaked into my February goal last minute so March's goal is another 5 pounds. Other goals:
- Maximum 100 calories of chocolate a day. I've been letting it get out of control and even if I've been under, it's hard on my stomach and increases my urge to binge.
- Drink water, of course.
- Try, once again, to increase my fiber.
- Try to get to 4 days of exercise per week.
I'm doing a Fri/Sun/Tues split for gym stuff right now but I want to make a point of doing cardio on Saturday. I've gotta get in shape for my mud run in June.
I think I might need gloves. My deadlift just hit 100 lbs and the grip on the bar hurts my hands so much.21 -
Starting weight and sizes:
1/1/20: 296, size 2x shirts, size 20 pants.
2/1:284.4 (1X shirts)
2/5:286.0 (38DDD bra)
2/12:284
2/19:280
2/26:279
I'm weighing most days and currently bouncing around that 279, so I'll call it that. The big things this month were going down to a 1x in shirts, because the necks on the 2x abruptly became entirely too large, and going down to a 38DDD bra instead of a 40F. I could tell I needed that because I was starting to get neck and shoulder pain even in my more structured day bras. I'm wearing the bra with an extender because I'm sort of a 38.9 or something, and it's more comfortable in the evenings. I intend to get a soft bra for evenings but not until I'm closing the 38 comfortably; otherwise it won't be comfortable, and that's the point of a leisure bra. And I got size 16 jeans yesterday to hang in the closet as the next goal pants, and tried them on because what the heck, right? They go all the way up my thighs, comfortably, though I can't pull them over the backside or close them across my belly. Yet. So that's very promising and exciting.
February goals:
Weight down to 280 by 3/1. Achieved that 2/21
Gym at least four days a week each week. Not done; I've been distracted with house finding. I'll be doing three times a week, since Boyfriend is working again and I don't have unlimited transportation.
Bike up to 15 minutes by the end of the month. Again, not done, I'll push that to next month.
Overhead press to thirty pounds by the end of the month. Again, push to next month.
Keep eating under 1450 calories, eating back exercise calories as needed. No problem there, even on bad pain days! Eating right is really habitual these days, and I like it and I like the way it makes me feel. My autism is helping because this is now The Way I Do It, and so I will do it that way because that is how it is done.
Clean out the closet, sending clothes that are too big to Goodwill or giving to Girlfriend, who started at a higher size than I did and has my clothes as her goal weight. I got that done, and that seriously debulks the space, which is good as we're going to move this spring and there's no point in moving clothes I can't wear. I have some shirts in XL and pants in XL and 16 for when I discover the current set won't fit, too, and that makes me feel better.
.
March goals:
Weight down to 272 by April 1. I want the doctor to say something on my return visit!
Gym three days a week.
Full yoga routine daily at home.
Maybe size 16 pants?
By the end of March I also want to have the garage packed up and all the packed boxes carried downstairs and stacked in the garage, so we can stage this house for sale without too much trouble. That's going to be partly weather-dependent, because no one wants to work in the unheated garage when it's 20 degrees out.
There's a lot of physical activity related to packing up a whole house, and while I'm not logging it, I'm doing it, and I can tell that I have more stamina to do it than I did before. I'm also now on my meds, and while I'm still figuring out the exact dosing for afternoons, I'm really feeling better and more collected and competent and orderly intermally. So things are definitely moving in the right direction.17 -

Woohoo! I’m excited to keep losing. Had a cheat day yesterday and felt terrible. Won’t be doing that for awhile. Still stayed under my calories but I physically felt yuck. Lesson learned!11 -
Hi, I’m on a 5 pound a month goal and keep getting steps in plus swimming at least three times a week.

Looking forward to turning the calendar page and starting a new month! February was not stellar for me, but I think March will be much better as the days continue to get longer and I go into my busiest time at work, which keeps me more active throughout each day. My goal is to lose at least 5 pounds in March, continue tracking daily and drink at least 65 ounces of water each day.9 -

Hello everybody!! So glad to be here, to continue this journey with all you lovely ladies.
It’s officially March here in Australia, new month, fresh start.
My weight for February got skewed thanks to my scales going wonky and getting a new set, but I’m happy with the start weight for the month.
My stats:
SW 101.3kg (223.lbs)
CW 95.5kg (210.5lbs)
GW for Feb 92kg (202.8lbs)
Goals for this month.
- Continue trying to up my water intake. It’s just so difficult, after 1.2litres I start to feel sick from so much water.
- Continue with my added strength training and hopefully add some extra weights to lift, not a lot but enough to feel that resistance.
- Keep an eye on my intake of fats (mono and poly), I seem to eat just a bit above my daily allowance. My journey is not just about weight loss but of getting healthier.
Feeling positive and determined for this month. We can do it ladies!!11 -

Hello everyone. I'm new here. My head isnt in a great place right now so I think I'm going to just lurk for a little while. Hopefully by the middle of this month or by next month I'll be in a better position to participate. I do enjoy reading everyone's posts though.25

Hi Everyone - Happy March
February saw little scale movement for me it was more about getting some basics sorted. So the goal for this month is to keep up with the changes I made in Feb and hopefully I should start to see good things.
March SW: 240.8lbs
Goal for the month 235.0 lbs
Non- scale goals
1) take my lunch 4/5 days a week. this will help me better control what I eat and will save me a bit of money
2) workout 3x a week. I have one steady day where I get exercise cause ita a dance class I love, but working in the other time has been hard. but with support from my husband I have started to find times to do this. So if I stick with it it will be good for me...I loved working out pre-kid. so trying to remember that and be gentle on my much heavier self
3) Walk more. weather is getting nicer so I can work in more walking, cause some days I am not even getting close to my 10k step goal.
let's do this!

Hello!
I’m new here but thought I’d join the fun! I’m Laura, a 35yo teacher, and in the beginning of my second stint on MFP. Back in 2017, I lost 40 pounds successfully, but now I’m back with even more to lose...
Heighest Weight: 222
SW: 215.8
CW: 205.2
GW: 150
Height: 5’7
In March, I’m aiming to get below 195, and to be in a mental place where I can feel great in springtime clothes!
Looking forward to cheering you all on this month!!13 -
Yay for March!! This is my 3rd month with the group and I love you ladies!
SW: 228
CW: 196.9
GW #1: 180
I finally hit ONE-derland in February so my goal for March is to get to 188. March should be interesting as classes will be intensifying so keeping my meal prep needs to be on point. So if you have any great recipes, send them my way!
As I met most of my non-university friends at the local Irish pub in Antwerp, I'll be celebrating St. Patrick's Day on the 14th. Very excited about that but will need to really keep my calories in check due to that. I've been pretty good avoiding temptation but I struggle some days with knowing if i'm actually hungry or just snacky.
I recently got a little bit extra $ that I wasn't expecting so I plan on using it to buy a yearly gym membership at the local gym. I really need to start lifting/heavier cardio so I really can see some changes in my body.
I hope everyone has a good week and I'm headed to Bruges on Friday so I'll throw a picture of my day trip in the next update!12 -
SW: 243
CW: 220.2
GW: 160ish
March Goal Weight: 212
Weigh-in day: Friday
Last month, I did about 6.4 lbs. My goal this month is to do a bit better and get down to 212. I am going to try to stick to what I have been doing, but be a bit more strict. I was fairly good about the exercise in Feb, but I did have a lot of days where I ate off plan (at least 6 days I totally went off the rails!). Weekends seem to be the hardest for me! After being good all week sometimes I just don't have the motivation to stay on plan during the weekend. I am going to try having my husband do more of the weekend cooking and see if that helps!10 -
As my half way to goal present to myself I rented a dress for a fundraising benefit for my son’s school. Just wanted to post a pic; unfortunately I don’t have one that’s full length but I did feel beautiful and festive last night!

GW Idk yet. 160 sounds good. BMI indicates 130-140, but that’s been hard for me to maintain in the past.
March goal: lose 1 lb per week. 5 Sundays in March, so 5 lbs.
Idk. I’m burning out guys. I have been on some form of a diet since I was 20...that’s 18 years. I’m sure many of us can relate to that experience 😅

Really, I spent whole Feb not trying too hard.
So March is my month! I'll try lose those 2 lbs each week. And I'll try to be consistent with it 😊
You guys are awesome! Keep up the good work!💕10 -
