Kombucha

I'm interested in talking with people who drink it and make it.
I've been making Kombucha foe about 6 months now.

    I've been making it since the summer farmers' markets ended where I could get jug refills easily and cheaply. I don't view it as a magic elixir - I just like the taste and the fizz, and the fact that a gallon costs less than a buck :smiley:

    Me too and it's an alternative to sugary fizzy drinks and beer.
    What flavours do you use?
    I'm made fruit salad with pineapple nectarines oranges and apple.
    Now onto ginger and lemon.

    Hi, I'm making my own for a few years. I used to second ferment with many different kinds of fruit and berries, lemon, fresh peppermint. Now, for the last couple of years i have completely stopped all flavorings and just make regular/ original, if we can call it that. I love the taste, make enough for a week and reset weekly the next batch. I just don't have time, i guess. I find this way suits our needs and taste and it's a lot quicker.

    I opened a bottle of it recently and it exploded in the kitchen!
    Mess everywhere.
    It was Hillarious. It had taken me 3x to get the fizz factor. Then BOOM we nailed it!
