Changing Scales

So I've been weighing myself with the medical scale at work this whole time. Last night I got on the scale of my new Wii, well, my used Wii board, and there was a difference of -4lbs. Can I just assume I lost that much and go on with my happy self or stick with the first one?

I'd stick with the first one tbh, I've heard that the Wii scale isn't 100% accurate.0

My home scale weighs about 6lbs different than the scale at my doctor's office.0

I came into work this morning to check it and I'm actually -2.5 from yesterday. I'll take that.... Any suggestions on good workout Wii games?0

It could be a lot of different things. Clothes, your last drink of water, time of the day, time of the month, etc.
Whatever you decide to go by, just be try to be consistent and keep everything the same from weighing to weighing. I always do it in the morning after I've answered nature's call while wearing the same/similar jammies.0 -
The reason scales can be off is because of calibration. Check to make sure your scale is calibrated. If you have a dumbbell put it on the scale. The scale should pick up how much the dumbbell weighs. If it doesn't, the your scale is not calibrated.
If you are going to compare your scale weight to the doctor's scale weight, then make sure you are weighing yourself under the same condition.
The best way to weigh yourself is naked. Weigh the clothes and shoes you are going to wear and then weigh yourself naked, you can do the reverse. Afterwards, weigh yourself with your clothes and shoes on. See what all three weights tell you. When you weigh yourself again at your job, see if the numbers match.
Sometimes, standing on the scale differently can give a different reading. A lot of people complain about getting one weight when they stand on a scale and getting a different number, if they get off the scale and stand back on it again. You will get a different reading, if you aren't standing the same way.0 -
I always weigh myself on the same scale, because otherwise as was already written here, different scales will vary by as much as 10 pounds I've seen. If you have access to a medical scale, it probably is calibrated annually or something so it's a lot more likely to be correct than your Wii. I'd just weigh myself on that.0

Health-O-Meter scales are doctor scales. We have one at work. You can find them at Walmart.0

I work for a medical supply and service company. I know for sure it's calibrated properly and it's easy to get to, the wii just makes me feel better.0
