Hi everyone! I’ve manage to lose a little over 50lb in the last 2 years. I started at 167 and got down to 121 It took a while but I took a break from dieting for a few months and now I’m at 135 I need to lose about 10-15lbs. I’ve went to extremes of eating 950 calories a day, and refuse to do that again and screw up my metabolism. Therefore I eat about 1,400 calories right now according to TDE and macros and what not. But I’m doing low carb right now. I lift weights 4-5 days a week. any advise I would appreciate it! Thank you!!!!!

Keep counting calories, getting in your workouts, and know that healthy weight loss is .5 lb a week, for the amount you'd like to lose. For best results slow and steady.

Congrats on your success. Aside from lifting, do you have high intensity workouts?

No I don’t incorporate Any at the moment. I was thinking of doing supersets you keep a higher heart rate. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lol.. I know I thought 1,400 calories would be enough. But I’m scared it will back fire if I go any higher!

I agree as you approach your goal it becomes less about diet and more about lifestyle. In order to be able to eat healthy and enjoy it you need a decent core of muscularity. You don't need to be competition strong just not squishy.

Add some lifts or decent calisthenics to your routine. The muscle you add will help you maintain and tone.

I lift 4-5 days a week. 2 full body days and 1 leg day focused with more compound movements and the other more isolated. My body has changed and thankfully not squishy. But not as lean as I’d like to be! Even doing low carb..

hmm that sounds pretty good. Do you have an idea what your body fat was when you were 121 lbs?

I would love to be at 7 or 8%. I know that I can no longer get there. Nor would it be healthy for me. Therefore my target is challenging but achieveable. Because of your food intake and exercise, I guess I am asking if your goal is maintainable and healthy. I don't want to pass judgement. It just sounds like you are doing great! And maybe this is the best you.

There are ways to help get off a plateau. I broke through one at 20% bf. Then broke through another at 15%. Just last week I manged to break at 3 month battle at 11 %. But I know I'm good at just below 10 as I am tracking it.

If you would like and could share what I did.
