One of my fave albums. Never tire of it!
Love the Pumpkins, too. Saw them live in Boston once, before they were at the height of their fame. Billy really does have a head the size of a pumpkin, lol. Was just thinking about this song yesterday.1 -

True story πI heard that song for the first time at a Walmart. I thought it was wham or george michael. Fortunately the lyrics were easy to jot down so I could google later.
But the crazy thing was that I had ordered something from their website to pick up in-store (a dustbuster vacuum I think) because who wants to walk around a Walmart right? It's always an expedition with me.
So I go to Walmart right when they opened, I want to get in and get the heck out, and I'm thinking I just pick up my order from their customer service desk in the front of the store. Nope. They tell me online pickups are at the back of the store near shipping/receiving.
I trek back there and no one is at the desk. The lights aren't even turned on. I flag down an employee who is restocking house slippers and they tell me they'll page someone to come down there.
So I go to the back again and wait there impatiently. At this point I could've grabbed the damn thing off the shelf and used the self-checkout. Could've been halfway home already. But I wait. And then this jam comes on.
And I am grooving like you don't even know. I went from 60 back down to 0 real quick. An employee finally shows up and asks for my invoice. I put my finger to my lips and shushed her. And then I pointed up toward the speaker.
You were late, now let me enjoy the song.
And I have been celebrating it ever since.
