Exercise time of day

I was wondering if it is important to exercise at the same time every day?

    Getting into a habit of doing it every day is the most important thing. If that means doing it the same time every day, then do it that way. If it means doing your workout at different times of the day just to get it done, then do it that way. Main thing is to just do it :wink:

    I agree, I don't need or have a routine, but I get it done every day. Sometimes I can workout at lunch, mostly at 4pm, sometimes later.

    I don't like exercising too late as my body takes about 4 or 5 hours to reach rest mode. I can't sleep if I exercise this close to bed time!

    At the same time each day.....no it's more important to just get into the habit of regular exercise. For me it's 4-5x a week and sometimes that means I get my workout in at 5am other times it's after 6pm. I do remember hearing something a long time ago about giving your body about 24hrs to recover from a strenuous workout though.....I don't do a 6pm workout followed by a 5am workout....still too tight and sore :)
