Extremely Under TDEE & No Appetite

I have no idea the answer & I need help.
I know everyone's TDEE's are super wonky right now with most of us in isolation...
But if you are massively under your TDEE for the day (say I only consumed 400 calories) and have no appetite/are full, should you force yourself to eat again before the next day?? Does it mess up your metabolism either way??

Are we talking about one isolated day with a low appetite or are we talking about multiple days where this is happening?3

Right now it's just one day but when I originally lost the bulk of my weight (80 lbs) it could go for a 5 day + stretch0 -

Please eat more. The minimum you should be eating is 1200 calories a day. Remember your heart is a muscle, and eating so little can damage it.7 -

Yes, you need to regularly eat enough to ensure you're meeting your nutritional needs. It can have seriously negative impacts on you. If lack of appetite is a frequent thing, I'd talk to your doctor. If you're following a way of eating that can result in appetite suppression, you may have to play a bit with your food choices to ensure you get enough appetite back to be able to eat.7 -
If it was a rare occurrence I wouldn't force myself to eat but I would be very mindful of the fact that I would more likely be hungrier over the coming days and allow myself the extra calories then. If it is a regular thing then you really need to force yourself to eat because undereating has long term negative consequences. In this situation, it may be good to look at calorie-dense foods so you don't have to eat as much to fill you up. Think nuts and nit butters cheese, avocados etc.5
