A Year of Discipline...

My weight loss journey started when I peaked at 295 lbs. A year ago this week I walked my first 5k. This week in honor of the Boston Marathon (being postponed) I dedicated effort to powerwalk the length of the marathon 26.2 miles... M-F over the course of a week. Nothing earth-shattering. But not bad for a fat guy. Can't seem to break through the 220 lbs. mark for more than
a day or two though. But I'll keep trying. No longer pre-diabetic, off a handful of pills, feel mentally tougher and disciplined. Just felt like sharing today.

Plateaus suck. You’ve built up the discipline over the past year though and soon you’ll break through. Congrats!0
