It's May! Finally! The Sun is shining, the birds are singing and life is fully back in bloom. Hopefully, we'll all be getting out from whatever quarantines we've been under and can safely enjoy some outside time. Gotta get that Vitamin D you know! On a personal note, I'll be seeing my Cardiologist this month to see if he gets off my back about my weight. Surely, he can't turn his nose up at a 45 pound loss, can he? Anyway, that's my near-term goal.
So, let's do this everybody!

We live in an area with a high number of cases and a lot of folks who are ignoring social distancing rules, so we will be staying at home for the time being. I am using this time to exercise, eat a healthy diet, and hopefully lose 20 to 40 pounds by my 56th birthday in January 2020. Thank goodness for YouTube exercise videos, free weights, exercise bands, a kitchen scale, and lots of healthy recipe ideas online. My food goal is one pound per week weight loss so I won't be starving myself.4
