Once it hits around 10 pm all I think about is food, the taste the smell, the texture...

How to stop thinking about food? I already had supper. This is driving me crazy! I try drinking more water, or broth but nothing is working.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I feel that way too. Sometimes watching a movie can be a temporary distraction.

What are you eating for supper? You could have more carbs in your supper which should help keep you from thinking about food before bed.

I would agree with saving calories for nighttime.
I'm always wanting to snack before bed. It's the only time I get cravings. So I've started saving myself some calories for it, because its better than beating myself up over it when I cave.

Carbs aren't filling for everyone, just for some. Protein, fat or volume work for others. Experiment.

IF PP thinks a blood sugar or energy dip is causing your late cravings, carbs might help . . . but so might reducing carbs at dinner in favor of fats or protein.

Look at your diary, experiment, think about makes for easier vs. harder days. You'll figure out a better plan that works for you.

    Best wishes!
